James Harden
Arrivé en tête du classement, James Harden est un basketteur américain évoluant depuis 2012 chez les Rockets de Houston. Avant cela, il a d’abord effectué une pige chez les Sun Devils d’Arizona State. Lors de la saison 2019-2020, il a marqué un total de 2096 points en seulement 61 matchs. Connu comme étant l’un des plus prolifiques attaquants de sa génération, James Harden excelle dans les situations d’un contre un. Il est aussi un adepte des tirs en réception de passes. Ce qui différencie Bradley Beal des autres joueurs, c’est qu’en plus de ses qualités offensives qu’on ne présente plus, le joueur affiche un rendement défensif digne des grands défenseurs de l’histoire. Meilleur joueur au championnat du monde de Basket-Ball des moins de 17 ans en 2010, Bradley a depuis étoffé sa carrière avec plusieurs sélections prestigieuses. Il reste sur deux participations successives au NBA All Stars Game en 2018 et 2019.
Giannis Antetokounmpo & Trae Young
Deux joueurs arrivent au coude à coude pour la troisième place. Il s’agit de Giannis Antetokounmpo et de Trae Young, tous deux affichant une moyenne de 29,6 points par match. Le premier est auteur de 1690 points en 57 parties tandis que le second a inscrit 1778 points en 60 rencontres de NBA. Giannis évolue avec la franchise des Bucks de Milwaukee depuis 2013 au poste d’ailier fort. C’est un joueur très complet aussi bien en attaque qu’en défense. Son agressivité et sa faculté à vite se projeter en avant constituent de redoutables armes de contre-attaque. Dans la plupart des cas, il les conclut généralement par des dunks inoubliables. Il était d’ailleurs le meilleur joueur de la saison 2018-2019.
Trae pour sa part est au service de l’Atlanta Hawks. Ce qui fait sa particularité, c’est sa propension à marquer régulièrement depuis la ligne des trois points. Une caractéristique qui oblige souvent les défenseurs à défendre loin de leur panier. Grâce à ses qualités de dribbleur et à sa petite taille, il provoque souvent des fautes et obtient des pénalités pour son équipe. Pénalités qu’il convertit la plupart du temps.
Damian Lillard
Le peloton est bouclé par Damian Lillard, meneur de jeu des Trails Blazers de Portland. Ses 1677 points scorés en 58 matchs, lui valent une moyenne globale de 28,9 points par match. Damien est capable de marquer dans toutes les positions mais sa spécialité, c’est le jump-shoot qui constitue 70% de la totalité de points qu’il a scoré en carrière. Avec les Trails Blazers de Portland, il a été champion de la Division Nord-Ouest en 2015 et en 2018.
